By accessing and using the Emerald Expeditions website (emeraldexpeditions.org) and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Our Services

Emerald Expeditions provides eco-tourism services in Suriname, including guided jungle expeditions, wildlife tours, and nature experiences. All tours are subject to availability and weather conditions.

3. Booking and Payment

• A deposit may be required to confirm your booking
• Full payment is due before the tour departure date
• Prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise specified
• We accept major credit cards and bank transfers

4. Cancellation Policy

• 30+ days before departure: Full refund minus processing fees
• 15-29 days before departure: 50% refund
• Less than 15 days: No refund
• We reserve the right to cancel tours due to safety concerns or insufficient participants, with full refunds provided

5. Participant Requirements

• Participants must be in reasonable physical health for the chosen tour
• You must disclose any medical conditions that may affect your participation
• Minimum age requirements apply to certain tours
• Travel insurance is strongly recommended

6. Liability and Assumption of Risk

Eco-tourism activities involve inherent risks. By participating in our tours, you acknowledge and accept these risks. Emerald Expeditions will not be liable for:

• Injuries resulting from participant negligence
• Loss or damage to personal belongings
• Circumstances beyond our control (weather, natural events, etc.)
• Third-party service failures

7. Environmental Responsibility

As an eco-tourism company, we require all participants to:

• Follow Leave No Trace principles
• Respect wildlife and maintain safe distances
• Follow guide instructions at all times
• Not remove any natural materials from tour sites

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Emerald Expeditions and protected by copyright laws.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website.
